Mango and matcha margarita

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1/2 teaspoon matcha
1 teaspoon sea salt
wedge lime, plus 30 ml lime juice
1/2 mango, roughly chopped
60ml blanco tequila
15ml Sugar syrup

Method

  1. Combine the matcha and salt in a shallow bowl and mix well. Wipe the lime wedge around the outside rim of a martini or coupe glass to wet it. Tilt the bowl slightly so the salt gathers up one end, and dip and turn the rim of the glass in the salt until it is coated all around. Shake off any excess. Muddle the mango in the bottom of a shaker, then add the lime juice, tequila and sugar syrup. Shake with ice, then pass through a small fine-meshed strainer into the glass.
