Lemon myrtle trees are native to Queensland, Australia, and are a fragrant and beautiful addition to gardens. If you can’t find a source of fresh leaves, substitute with a short length of lemongrass, and gently press the lemongrass to release its oils.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
90ml blanc vermouth (preferably regal rogue or dolin)
wedge lime
1 lemon myrtle leaf

Method

  1. Pour the vermouth into a wine glass over ice. Squeeze in the lime wedge and drop the wedge into the glass. Gently crack the lemon myrtle leaf to release the oils and stir through.
