Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 avocados
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 garlic clove, minced
A pinch sea salt
freshly ground black pepper
1/2-1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon lemon zest, finely grated
5 tablespoons thick greek yoghurt
a little olive oil, to serve (optional)

Method

  1. Halve the avocados and remove the stones, then scoop out the flesh straight into a bowl. Mash the avocado with a fork and then stir in the lemon juice. Add the rest of the ingredients and combine until smooth.
  2. Serve the dip freshly made, drizzled with a bit of olive oil. Serve with wedges of toasted pita bread or colourful crudités on the side.
