Lime and berries are such a wonderful match, and a hint of lime can really enhance all kinds of berries, such as strawberries in slices or chunks, blueberries or juicy blackberries.

For 500 g berries, use the juice and grated zest of 1 large lime and about 3 tablespoons sifted icing sugar, or to taste.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Wash and dry the limes well. Finely grate the peel. Tip the berries into a bowl, squeeze over the lime juice, dust with icing sugar and then sprinkle with lime zest. Taste to see if you need a bit more icing sugar. Serve the berries with vanilla ice cream or just vanilla yoghurt. Or serve on top of a cheesecake or mousse.
