A simple dish with an Asian touch, perfect with steamed rice and stir-fried vegetables.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
700g skinless salmon fillet
butter or oil, for greasing the dish
2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Marinade

Quantity Ingredient
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 large garlic clove, crushed

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 225°C. Place the salmon in a greased ovenproof dish. Combine the ingredients for the marinade and pour it over the fish. Scatter sesame seeds on top, and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Serve while warm.
