This lovely sauce perfectly complements many different dishes, such as smoked fish and new potatoes, grilled meat or tender vegetables.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
200g see method for ingredients
3 tablespoons whole egg mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon mild dijon mustard
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 tablespoons each of snipped dill and chives
sea salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients and season with salt and pepper. Cover and chill the sauce for about 30 minutes, to let the flavours mingle.
