Indian mango and mint raita

Ingredients

Method

  1. Peel and roughly chop one sweet and perfectly ripe mango. Mash the flesh with a fork until fairly smooth.
  2. Combine the mango with 300 g thick Greek yoghurt, a pinch of chilli powder or cayenne, sea salt and 10-12 finely chopped fresh mint leaves.
  3. Serve the raita as a side to chicken, barbecued meat or spicy Indian dishes.
