This is one of our favourite welcome drinks for summer parties. It’s easy to double or multiply the recipe, and a few slices of ripe peach add a nice touch.

Method

  1. Carefully pick over the berries: 250 g perfectly fresh raspberries will be enough for 1 bottle of dry white wine. Place the berries in a jug or bowl, sweeten with sugar to taste and stir carefully. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours. Add the wine, perhaps a few sliced peaches and chill for 1-2 hours before serving.
