A salty chip that ticks all the boxes. Crisp and crunchy, it’s hard to resist these straight out of the oven, even for a kale skeptic.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
175g kale, stems removed, leaves torn into chunks
90ml sesame oil
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking parchment.
  2. Wash the kale, and dry thoroughly with a tea towel. Lay the kale out on the lined baking tray. Mix together the sesame oil and soy sauce, then pour over the kale and toss until well covered. Sprinkle over the sesame seeds. Bake for 15 minutes or until the leaves are crisp tossing halfway and taking care not to burn them.
  3. Store in an airtight container. Best eaten within 2 days.
