Serve this sauce with rich meats, such as pork or duck.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 tablespoons tinned salted black beans, rinsed and drained
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
2 tablespoons chinese wine or dry sherry

Method

  1. Use a fork to mash the black beans in a bowl to make a chunky paste, then stir in the remaining ingredients until well combined.
