This mango lassi is a popular drink, especially with children. It will froth and look like a milkshake, and is generally acceptable even to those who do not like yoghurt by itself. You may prefer to use lemonade instead of soda water — in which case, omit the sugar.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
95g mango, finely chopped
2 tablespoons plain yoghurt
2 teaspoons sugar
375ml iced soda water

Method

  1. Put the mango in a blender with the yoghurt, sugar and 125 ml of the soda water and mix well to combine. Add the remainder of the soda water and use a spoon to stir through. Serve in glasses with ice cubes.
