A good blender is essential. You want the yoghurt to blitz with the other ingredients in such a fury that the mix turns pale and frothy. Drink immediately. And then drink more.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
600g plain yoghurt
80g caster sugar
1 tablespoon rose water, (or to taste)
3 whole cardamom pods, (optional)
200ml cold water
100g crushed ice cubes

Method

  1. Put the yoghurt, sugar, rose water, cardamom pods and water into the blender. Process for 1 minute, then add the ice and process for a minute more.
  2. Strain and serve in tall glasses.
