Oranges grilled with honey and cinnamon with ricotta and amaretti

A super-easy and beautiful pudding – works equally well with grilled apricots or peaches.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 oranges, peeled and cut into thick slices
3 tablespoons runny honey
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
75g amaretti biscuits
200g ricotta

Method

  1. Line a baking tray with foil and preheat the grill.
  2. Add the orange slices to the tray and drizzle with honey to taste. Add the cinnamon.
  3. Grill under the hot grill until the honey is bubbling and some of the oranges have begun to caramelize a little – about 10 minutes. Remove from the grill and set to one side for about 5 minutes. Arrange the slices on a serving plate.
  4. Roughly smash the amaretti biscuits and arrange blobs of ricotta and the broken amaretti over the grilled oranges. Drizzle over a little extra honey and serve.
