This is a gorgeous snack. Spread on an oatcake or use it as a dip for raw veggies such as carrots and celery.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 smoked mackerel fillets
4 tablespoons natural live probiotic yogurt
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1/2 lemon, juiced
2 teaspoons capers, drained and rinsed
low-sodium salt
freshly ground black pepper

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients into a food processor and process at full power until a smooth pâté has been formed.
  2. Place in a bowl and snack at will.

Note

  • Good source of omega 3 fatty acids and magnesium.
