Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 green tea bag
150ml frozen blueberries
1 teaspoon runny honey
75ml vodka

Method

  1. Brew the green tea with 150 ml boiling water in the same way you would if you were making a normal cuppa. Leave to cool down completely.
  2. Place the blueberries, cold tea, honey and vodka in a blender and blitz into a thick, awesome, naughty smoothie.

Good for:

  • Blood vessel lining, reducing cholesterol oxidation

Star ingredient:

  • Blueberries contain a potent group of compounds called anthocyanins, which are also found in red wine. They are thought to offer protection against bad (LDL) cholesterol oxidation, and also protect the inner lining of blood vessels from damage.
