Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 eggs
100ml light olive oil
50g unsalted butter
salt flakes
freshly ground black pepper

Method

  1. Carefully crack the eggs into four separate bowls to ensure they are all good, intact and free of shell.
  2. Place the oil and butter in a large non-stick frying pan over the lowest heat. Slowly pour each egg into the pan and gently cook the eggs. While cooking, carefully lift each egg with a spatula to ensure it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan. Cook the eggs until the whites are fully cooked and the yolks are set and runny. Sprinkle salt and pepper over each egg and serve immediately
