Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
175g medjool dates, stoned
1 tablespoon lemon juice
pinch sea salt

Method

  1. Place 360 ml water, dates, lemon juice and salt in a high-speed blender or food processor. If you are using a food processor, start with a little less water and add gradually. Run until you have a smooth syrup. Use instead of honey, agave or maple syrup. Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for a couple of weeks.
