A ganache is a beautiful silky chocolate sauce. It works perfectly as a cake topping and is delicious served with ice cream.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
300ml cream
300g dark cooking chocolate, cut into small pieces

Method

  1. Bring the cream to the boil in a saucepan. Remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate until melted and smooth. Set aside to cool before using.
