This wonderful sauce can be served with cakes, ice cream and fruity desserts.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 orange, juiced
1 lemon, juiced
80g sugar
1/2 vanilla pod, split lengthwise
300g fresh or frozen raspberries

Method

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer, then cook for 5 minutes.
  2. In a food processor, blend the sauce to a purée, then strain into a bowl. Set aside to cool. Refrigerate until about 10 minutes before serving.
