This is a healthy drink full of goodness. Use top-quality ripe seasonal fruit and, if you wish, low-fat milk and yoghurt. The addition of wheat germ is especially good if you are having the smoothie for breakfast; it adds extra nutrients and helps to fill you up until lunch time.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup milk
1 cup natural yoghurt
200g strawberries or other berries
2 tablespoons wheat germ

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into 2 glasses and serve immediately.
