We sisters have much in common. One of our favourite activities while we were growing up was, and still is, skiing. I’ll be honest with you, ski holidays for us are 70 per cent about the snow and slopes, and 30 per cent about the abundance of melted cheese. This recipe is inspired by traditional fondue nights. It is a ridiculously easy starter or canapé alternative – sharing at its finest and simplest. - Linsey

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 whole small camembert, in its box
2 garlic cloves, sliced
dry white wine
crusty bread, orn into chunks, such as baguette, to serve

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°c.
  2. Unwrap the Camembert from the plastic packaging and place it back in its cardboard box (with the lid off). Place on a baking sheet.
  3. Make little incisions in the cheese with a sharp knife and slot a slice of garlic into each incision. Drizzle the cheese with the white wine and bake in the oven for 20–25 minutes until it feels soft.
  4. Dip in crusty bread chunks and enjoy this melted cheese feast!
