Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
500ml beer
150g besan flour
250g self-raising flour
50g cornflour
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1 pinch salt
1 pinch bicarbonate of soda

Method

  1. Pour the beer into a mixing bowl and whisk in the besan, the self-raising flour and cornflour. Add the cumin, salt and bicarbonate of soda and then allow to sit for half an hour before using.
