I’m a self-confessed cheese-head and this is my ‘fix’ when I need something extra after dinner. You have to be very strong and only allow yourself one piece of brie, and I say eat it with a knife and fork, as the French do, so that once you’re finished, you’re finished. Get it?

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
piece the most delectable brie you can afford
1/2 nice firm pear
a few walnuts
a few celery leaves

Method

  1. I like to arrange this beautifully – as if serving an entrée. Cut a wedge from the brie and place it on an attractive plate. Arrange a few slices of the pear to one side and scatter on the walnuts and celery leaves.
