Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
2 whole sweet potatoes
6 tablespoons see method for ingredients

Method

  1. Rub the vegetable oil and salt around the outside of the sweet potatoes. Then wrap both sweet potatoes completely in foil.
  2. Place the sweet potatoes directly on the coals of a medium-hot fire (roughly 160–170°C/325–340°F) and cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour, turning every 10 minutes.
  3. Serve with the Ultimate Barbecue Sauce on the side, to drizzle over the sweet potato flesh while eating.
