To be honest, chia seeds don’t need to be soaked overnight, or even for a few hours. These tiny little powerhouse seeds absorb liquid right away and start to swell immediately. For me, 10 minutes is plenty of time to get these bad boys nice and gooey.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 tablespoons chia seeds
125g blueberries,raspberries or strawberries, or a mixture
2 teaspoons raw cacao powder
2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon maca or lucuma powder
160ml nut milk

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl, reserving a few of the berries, and stir until well combined. You will notice that the chia seeds will soak up a lot of the nut milk. This should just take a few minutes and then just top with the remaining berries and it’s ready to eat. Now that’s quick!
