I love serving meals in jars, as I just think it’s really pretty and definitely different! But also, it’s super easy to stack up the ingredients in the jars and wow your guests, especially if you need a quick dessert to serve. These recipes serve two, but it’s very easy for you to multiply the ingredients to make more if needed. So, here are two delicious jar recipes from my supper guests to yours.

Chocolate avocado pudding jar

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 banana
1/2 avocado, peeled and stoned
25g ground almonds
4 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lucuma powder
1/2 tablespoon coconut oil

Method

  1. Blitz all the ingredients into a creamy paste in a food processor or blender before spooning into the jars. Place in the freezer for 10 minutes to set before serving.

Sweet fruit salad jar

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 tablespoons honey
1 banana, chopped
70g chopped pineapple
80g chopped mango
70g chopped strawberries
2 teaspoons chia seeds

Method

  1. Spoon a tablespoon of honey into each jar, then divide the fruit equally between each and sprinkle with chia seeds. Finish off your jars with a last spoonful of honey and serve.
