Vary this base recipe with lemon thyme, lime or basil.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
100ml grapeseed oil
100ml olive oil
2 lemons, zested

Method

  1. Mix the oils together in a saucepan. Grate the lemons over the pan to capture the spray and oils that are released. Heat oil gently until warm then remove the pan from the heat. Cover and leave to infuse for at least 24 hours before use. The oil will keep in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
