This spread is like daayum, as they say on the street. So easy to make, so perfect to spread on everything in sight and just really, really tasty. Use it as a filling for truffles, spread it on toast with banana or just eat it by the spoonful.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
12 medjool dates, pitteed, about 240 g
125g nut butter
or tahini
2 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 pinch sea salt flakes
2 1/2 tablespoons coconut paste

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients in your food processor or blender and process until smooth. Transfer to a sterilised jar and store in the fridge, where it will keep for 2 weeks.
