OK, OK, OK. I really, really love this spread. It’s buttery, it’s packed with nutrients and it’s SO perfect as a butter replacement to smear on toast or use in curries, stir-fries, soups or you name it! I constantly have a jar of this on the go in my house, sneaking it into my family’s food wherever possible.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
155g raw cashew nuts
155g brazil nuts
60ml coconut oil
1 teaspoon maca
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons turmeric powder

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blitz until a smooth butter has formed (this will take about 5–10 minutes). Place in a sterilised jar and keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
