Apparently Casanova enjoyed eating large amounts of mascarpone cheese and liked to share it with his lovers. Serve it in almost any dessert you can imagine!

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
150g mascarpone
100ml double cream
3 tablespoons mild clear honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
or 1 vanilla pod, seeds scraped
1 tablespoon rum
or 1 tablespoon cognac
or 1 tablespoon grand marnier

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients into a bowl and whisk together. Taste and adjust honey or rum as you like.
