This chapter is based on the second chakra, svadhisthana, which means sweetness, and it focuses on strengthening our energy flow, by harnessing the element of water. Water is the ultimate life source of the earth; it makes everything grow, move and change. But water also aids the flow of our human emotions, sensuality and ability to move and shift within our consciousness, which enables us to explore our human meaning and purpose.

The Flow chapter is the core energy source for all movement within our bodies and begins its journey in our reproductive and digestive systems. The ingredients used in this chapter have all been selected to ensure nothing obstructs the flow of energy to these essential organs. This is achieved through simple cooking techniques, such as soaking grains and using fermented foods which replenish our healthy gut bacteria. These flow processes and ingredients result in the nutrients being absorbed more efficiently into our system.

When we feel constricted or obstructed in some way, our flow is limited. The challenge is to find the ability to deal with change and then let it go. It’s my belief that the ingredients within this chapter and the energy they create, will help your body to fundamentally let go and flow more freely.
