Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
250ml vegetable oil
6 spring onions, thinly sliced, green part only

Method

  1. Put the vegetable oil and spring onion in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook for about 2 minutes, or until the oil just starts to simmer. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
  2. Do not discard the spring onion; keep it in the oil to garnish dishes with.
  3. Transfer the oil mixture to a clean airtight container. It will keep in the refrigerator for several days.
