This is a lovely fragrant tea that makes a change from the usual herbal selection. It’s perfect as an after-dinner digestive.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 fresh bay leaves, per person
1 wide strip organic lemon zest, per person
sugar

Method

  1. Place the ingredients in a teapot or in individual cups, adding sugar to taste.
  2. Pour on boiling water and allow to steep for 3–4 minutes before drinking.
