Caraway seeds sharpen the flavour of coleslaw.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
125g sour cream
2 tablespoons caraway seeds
1 large red apple, cored and thinly sliced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 green or red cabbage, shredded
salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 small onion, finely chopped

Method

  1. Mix sour cream and caraway seeds and chill for 30 minutes. Sprinkle apple with lemon juice. Sprinkle cabbage with salt and pepper, mix in onion and apple and toss gently with sour cream mixture.
