Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 dessert apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
1 lemon, juiced and zest thinly pared
8 cloves
4 tablespoons sugar
1 litre cider
500ml soda water

Method

  1. Put apples into a bowl with lemon zest and juice and cloves. Heat sugar and 1 cup cider until boiling, then pour over ingredients in bowl and leave to cool. When cold add rest of cider and soda water.
