Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1kg chicken wings, tips removed
2 tablespoons tomato puree
2 tablespoons cider or wine vinegar
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tablespoon salt

Method

  1. Place wings in a large bowl. Mix together remaining ingredients and spoon over wings. Marinate, covered, for several hours or overnight in refrigerator, turning wings occasionally to coat evenly.
  2. Drain wings of marinade, and barbecue or grill under a preheated moderate grill until crisp and brown on both sides. Or bake in a preheated moderately hot oven, turning once. Cooking time on grill or in oven will be 10–15 minutes.
