Ingredients

375g quick cooking oats
90g dried apricots, finely chopped
60g sultanas
65g fresh wheatgerm
110g raw sugar
apples, to serve
milk, to serve
or cream, to serve

Method

  1. Toast oats on a baking tray in a preheated moderate oven for 8–10 minutes. Place oats in a bowl and add apricots, sultanas, wheatgerm and sugar. Mix well.
  2. Store in a tightly covered container at room temperature. Serve 3–4 tablespoons muesli in individual cereal bowls, grate 1 apple over each serving and add milk or cream.
