These are delicate little puffs of feather-light choux pastry, filled with sweetened whipped cream. Alternatively, use crème pâtissière.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
250ml cream
icing sugar, sifted
few drops natural vanilla extract
12 Basic profiteroles

Method

  1. Whip cream with 1 tablespoon icing sugar and vanilla. Fill profiteroles and sift more icing sugar over the tops.
