A striking dessert that is very simple to prepare.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 ripe peach, peeled, stoned and sliced, per person
caster sugar, (optional)
dry red or white wine
or sweet white wine

Method

  1. Place peach slices in long-stemmed wine glasses. Sprinkle with a little sugar if liked, then fill glasses with wine. Chill for 1 hour. Serve with thin, crisp sweet biscuits.
