Delicious with either tongue or ham.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1/4 cup sugar
1 x 440 g can pitted sour red cherries
2 teaspoons cornflour, blended with little cold water
A pinch salt

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients. Cook and stir over a low heat until the syrup is thick and clear. Serve hot or cold.
