Here is such a delicious combination of frozen banana and mango with a kick from the powerful spice, turmeric. Turmeric makes an unusual but delightfully surprising smoothie.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 banana, peeled and frozen
2 tablespoon coconut yoghurt
1/2 mango, peeled and destoned
375ml tinned coconut milk, chilled (thick part only)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4-1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon coconut oil

Toppings

Quantity Ingredient
Whipped coconut cream
banana slices
1 handful raspberries

Method

  1. Simply blend everything together in a blender or food processor until smooth. Pour into a glass, layered with the Whipped Coconut Cream and serve topped with the bananas and raspberries.
