MRS: Wraps are an essential part of our pantry and this combo works like a dream. We’ve suggested some other rad fillings below.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
100g cream cheese
juice of 1/2 lemon
2 large wholemeal (wholewheat) wraps
200g smoked salmon, separated into thin strips
1 lebanese (short) cucumber, sliced
1/2 avocado, sliced

Method

  1. Mix the cream cheese and lemon juice together in a bowl until well combined.

    Lay the wraps out on a board and spread a thick layer of the cream cheese down the middle of each from top to bottom. Top the cream cheese first with strips of smoked salmon, then slices of cucumber and lastly slices of avocado. Turn the wrap horizontal to the board and roll up tightly to seal.

TIP

  • While almost anything works inside a wrap, other fillings could include: bacon, omelette, baby spinach and sweet chilli sauce; grilled haloumi, roasted red capsicums (bell peppers) and rocket (arugula); roast chicken, pesto and feta.
