MRS: The hooligans were first served this as dessert in a friend’s cafe a few years ago and it has been a firm favourite ever since. Don’t see the fruits listed here as a fixed list. Use whatever you love – just be sure to make it colourful!

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 x 3cm watermelon slice, cut into 6–8 triangular wedges
100g blueberries or raspberries
100g strawberries, hulled and halved
1 apple, cored, halved and cut into thin slices
1 peach, stone removed and cut into 8 wedges
1 handful mint or chocolate mint leaves

Method

  1. Lay the watermelon pieces out onto a large serving plate to make a rough circle. Top with the rest of the fruit and scatter over the mint leaves to finish. Best served cold.
