MRS: This is part-snack, part-craft activity. I found it while searching for Star Wars party ideas and I’m glad I did, as these were by far the most popular snack on the party table.

Method

  1. Wrap some wine bottle corks tightly with aluminium foil. Cut small squares and rectangles out of some coloured tape with a pair of scissors and stick these onto the corks – these will be the buttons for your lightsabre handles. Thread grapes (red or white depending on which side of the force is strongest with you) lengthways onto the skewers, leaving 5 cm clear at the pointed ends, then push the pointed ends into the cork ‘handles’ to complete. Keep refrigerated until ready to eat.
