Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 small red chilli, seeded and diced
300g pork fillet, thinly sliced
oil, for cooking
200g baby bok choy, washed and cut into even pieces
4 spring onions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Method

  1. Combine the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic and chilli. Pour over the sliced pork and leave to marinate for at least 10 minutes, time permitting.
  2. Drain the excess marinade off the pork and reserve the marinade. Place a wok over high heat then add a splash of oil and the pork and cook until golden brown. Add the bok choy and reserved marinade and cover with a lid. Steam for 2–3 minutes, or until the bok choy is just cooked. Add the spring onions and sesame seeds, toss to combine and serve with steamed rice.

Variation

  • Sesame beef and baby bok choy stir-fry

Replace the pork with beef fillet.
