Bloody oranges, at it again, making incredible combos with tequila and basil. This margarita is particularly amazing on the rocks with salt.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
salt
50ml blanco tequila, (at the restaurant we use Tromba Blanco)
4 basil leaves, plus extra, for garnish (optional)
25ml lemon juice
30ml blood orange juice
15ml agave syrup
ice cubes

Method

  1. Dip the moistened rim of a martini glass in salt until well coated.
  2. Muddle the basil in a cocktail shaker. Add the remaining ingredients, then fill with ice and shake.
  3. Double strain into the prepared martini glass and garnish with a basil leaf, if desired.
