This sour was often neck-and-neck with the Jalapeño Margarita for popularity. A blend of citrus, blueberries and everyone’s favourite Sloe Gin makes for a very drinkable, lovely treat.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 barspoons blueberries, plus a small skewer of blueberries, for garnish (optional)
30ml sloe gin
15ml gin, (at the restaurant we use Beefeater)
15ml triple sec
20ml lemon juice
15ml grapefruit juice
20ml orange juice, plus an orange twist, for garnish (optional)
ice cubes

Method

  1. Muddle the blueberries in a cocktail shaker. Add the remaining ingredients, then fill with ice and shake hard for a minimum of 10 seconds.
  2. Double strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with ice and garnish with a skewer of blueberries and a twist of orange, if desired.
