This may sound like an odd combination and we were certainly all sceptical when our head chef, Neel, recommended it. But it’s a fantastic mixture, plus it ups your five-a-day in a really easy way.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 small cucumber, (240g)
1 small banana, (80g)
2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander
2 tablespoons finely chopped mint leaves
300g natural yogurt
1/2 lemon, juiced
pinch chilli powder
sea salt

Method

  1. Deseed the cucumber and chop it very finely (leaving the skin on).
  2. Peel the banana and mash with a fork.
  3. Mix the cucumber, banana and herbs into the yogurt and season with the lemon juice, chilli powder and salt to taste.
