Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3-4 green chillies, chopped
1cm piece ginger, chopped
2 garlic cloves, sliced
1 cup grated fresh coconut or steamed desiccated coconut
3 tablespoons finely chopped coriander leaves
1-2 teaspoons lime juice
salt, to taste

Method

  1. In a mortar or a food processor attachment grind the chillies, ginger and garlic to a paste. Put in the coconut, coriander leaves and lime juice and blend well. Add water to moisten and salt.
