We use this on our Texas-style brisket, beef ribs and as a kind of Montreal steak seasoning.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 tablespoons sea salt flakes, (not too coarse)
60g coarsely ground black pepper
4 tablespoons garlic granules
3 tablespoons onion granules
1 tablespoons chipotle chilli powder
1 tablespoons red pepper flakes

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients well. Optionally, put through a blender for an extra fine powder. Transfer the rub to a jar, or shaker if using immediately.
